Bob Elliott

My name is Bob Elliott 

 

I have been involved with this great club one way or another for nearly all of its 52 years.

I started as a parent with my son tony in 1977 and have since been Chairman, Treasurer, Coach, Secretary and I am now the Club President 

 

It has been hard work at times over the years but i have been rewarded with many highs including 

Going on a coach trip from the club to Wembley to watch my son play for England u16s 

Seeing him and many others from our club going on to play both professional and international football 

Hosting a presentation evening at the Birmingham Hilton Metrapol for 12 teams and over 1000 people 

Watching our u16s win the county cup 

 

During the later years like many others our team has dwindled in size down to 4 teams but now with new young management team at the helm (and my advice when needed) we are on our way back to being one of the prominent teams in Birmingham again 

 

Finally, can I thank all managers and committee past and present for their help in keeping our club running
