It is with the deepest regret that the club announce the passing of our great founder, Mr. Arthur Farrell, at the fine age of 89. The club send love and prayers to Arthur's family at this sad time.
Arthur created this great club for the children of Chelsley Wood back in 1971 and it is one of the oldest youth football clubs in the Midlands. It was a privellage to have Arthur at last years presentation night to sing our famous anthem and to see him once more at our player signing day where he met the future generation of C's players.
Arthur will always be in our thoughts in everything we do as a club and his legacy will continue to live on whilst we still have children wearing the green & white hoops every weekend to play football.
All teams participated in a minutes silence ahead of their fixtures on Sunday, in honour of Arthur.
